Through winter’s hush, where cold winds flow,
a stag moves slowly through the snow.
Each careful step, a vow he keeps,
where silence guards and memory sleeps.

He treads toward grounds his kin once found,
a circle safe, a trusted ground.
Where faith was strong and fear was none,
where promise lived beneath the sun.

Though winter binds the earth below,
he carries hope where few dare go.
For in his path, the truth will show,
that spring still waits beneath the snow.
